The Consultation… what to expect
My 1st floor bridal studio has been designed to offer totally private consultations in a relaxed and friendly environment. It is a lovely light airy room with plenty of space but also total seclusion. There is comfortable seating for those who have accompanied you and also a choice of refreshments.
Firstly we have a chat about dresses that you have seen and your ideas on how you would like to look. We then have a look through the collection and choose what you would like to try on and start the fun! When you are in your first gown you can get the whole effect by adding your choice from our locally hand-crafted tiaras, select a veil and hold a hand-tied calla lily bouquet. If you like the look we take a photograph and move onto the next dress - again if you like it we take a photograph. You are welcome to try on everything as it is such an important decision you need to be sure that you’ve tried all the options.
After trying on the gowns we can then discuss colours and fabrics and any alterations you may be thinking about i.e. no straps or adding sleeves, making a straight skirt full or vice versa. I will then print your photographs and you can take them away with you to think about.
If you decide that you would like a dress from the Simply Brides collection but are still unsure come back and have another look. If you need time alone in your dress to be 100% sure that’s absolutely fine. If you have seen a dress elsewhere that you really like, bring a photo along and I may be able to help.
All sessions are no-obligation and you are welcome to come more than once. Buying your wedding dress is such an important decision - you will be looking back at the photos for years to come.
